Tipping trailers & dump carts
Here you will find our smart combination trailers that set the standard 15 years ago! Our TKS trailers are characterized by the fact that they can be used both for transporting gravel and soil and can also be supplemented with loading kits and roll-up covers for grain transport.
The foundation, the chassis itself, has its roots in Gisebo, which later became Husqvarna Vagn. Since 2002, Bala Agri has owned the Husqvarna Vagn brand and further developed it. The first product developed was the TKS1112, which has been incredibly popular since its inception. Tipper trailers are a popular type of trailer for these applications.
Our different models
Today, there is a wide range of models available, from 6 tons up to 16 tons. The smallest dump trailers are primarily intended for excavators. They are available with hydraulic gravel dumpers, mechanical gravel dumpers, mechanical bow visors, and top/side-mounted rear dumpers with a spreading function. Our smaller dump trailers come with S355 sheet metal as standard in the body, but HARDOX can be selected for the bottom. Here you will find models with a load capacity of 6-9 tons, or even larger models. It is important to choose the right size and capacity based on the material to be transported and the specific needs of the job.
The 11-ton trailers come standard with HARDOX 450 wear plate on the bottom. The TKS1612, which is the latest product developed in this segment and one of our larger machines, has an extremely strong underframe, and the entire bed is made of Hardox and certified by SSAB as a HARDOX IN MY BODY product.
All joints on our dump trucks have grease nipples. The bogie joints have bushings and a grease channel to the center, which ensures a long service life for all moving parts. We also use the highest quality tipping cylinders and brake hubs. Our tipping cylinders come from Melin & Carlsson in Tranås. All piston rods have a hard chrome-plated surface to prevent rusting and also give them a harder surface that increases their service life. The brake hubs on our dump trailers come from the Italian company FAD and have internal brake cylinders to minimize the risk of damage and dirt ingress. The trailer is equipped with important components such as wheels, tires, and a braking system to ensure safe and efficient transport.
What is a dump truck?
Definition and areas of application
A dump truck is a type of trailer that is specialized for transporting heavy and loose materials. It is equipped with a tipping function that allows the material to be tipped off at the desired location. Dump trucks are often used in the construction and civil engineering sector, agriculture, mining and industrial work, municipal work, and more. This trailer makes it possible to efficiently handle and transport materials such as gravel, soil, stone, and grain, making it an essential machine for many different types of projects.
Advantages compared to conventional trailers
Dumper trailers offer several advantages over standard trailers. One of the most prominent advantages is their ability to handle heavy and loose materials such as gravel, sand, and soil. Thanks to the tipping function, the material can be easily unloaded directly at the construction site, saving time and labor. In addition, dump trailers are built to be more robust and durable than regular trailers, making them ideal for use in harsh environments. This robustness allows them to be used for a variety of tasks, from agriculture to construction and civil engineering. They are also designed to minimize maintenance and maximize service life, making them a long-term investment for anyone who needs reliable transport equipment.
Types of dump trucks
At Bala Agri, we have divided our dump trailers into three different types: dump trailer, dump trailer PRO, and dump trailer pro HD. All our dump trailers are available with a hydraulic construction hatch. TKS1112, Pro trailers, and Pro HD trailers have this as standard.
Dumper wagon – flexibility for everyday work
These trailers come in different sizes, from 6 to 11 tons of load capacity, and are great for transporting grain or smaller amounts of gravel and soil. These trailers have a low weight and a large load capacity. This tipper trailer is the perfect choice if you need a flexible trailer to make your daily work easier. This trailer can be built to suit your needs and has a wide range of options. All our trailers are available in different tipping angles.
Dumper trailer PRO – for farmers & contractors
The Dumperwagon Pro is perfect for transporting soil, gravel, excavated material, and other types of bulk goods. The trailer is available in sizes ranging from 8 to 16 tons of load capacity. The Pro model is lightweight, smart, and durable. It is an update where we have reduced the dead weight by 10 percent, increased the load capacity by 20 percent, and increased the service life compared to its predecessor.
The subframe is constructed from high-strength steel and the flatbed is made entirely from Hardox, guaranteeing a strong and durable construction. View our pro carts here.
PRO HD – Heavy-duty dump trucks with Hardox
Heavy-duty dump trailers are designed to handle extremely heavy materials and are often used in construction. These trailers are built to withstand tougher environments and are equipped with Hardox steel wear plates in the dump trailer frame and chassis. Their robust construction enables them to handle the most demanding tasks and ensures long life and reliability in tough conditions. See our dump trailers for extra heavy loads here.
Security for our customers
We want our products to make the working day easier for farmers and contractors. It is important that our customers feel confident about our products, which is why we offer a 5-year warranty on the construction of all our dump trailers.
Construction and components
The dump truck's design is carefully crafted to handle heavy-duty tasks and difficult conditions. There are several key components that make the truck both efficient and durable. Each part of the truck is designed to meet specific needs and ensure that it performs optimally in all conditions.
Frame and chassis
The frame and chassis of a dumper trailer are built to handle heavy loads and high stresses. The chassis is made of durable steel, sometimes reinforced with materials such as Hardox and/or Strenx. This gives the trailer the strength and durability needed to handle heavy materials. The robust construction ensures that the truck can be used for a long time without compromising on performance or safety.
Tip function
The tipping function is a central part of the dumper truck and enables quick and efficient unloading of materials. Tipping is usually done using hydraulics, which makes it easy to handle heavy materials. This function also makes it possible to place the material exactly where it is needed, reducing the need for additional labor and equipment. The tipping function is also designed to minimize the risk of accidents and damage. Simply put, it is a safe and reliable solution for all types of transport needs.
Flak
The bed of a dump truck is often made of reinforced steel and is built to withstand the stresses of heavy materials. The bed is also designed to be easy to clean and maintain, reducing the risk of problems. Its robust construction allows the bed to handle everything from gravel and soil to stone and other heavy materials.
The advantages of a tipper trailer
A tipper trailer is an important machine for many in the construction and agricultural sectors thanks to its ability to unload materials quickly and efficiently. With its robust construction and tipping function, the tipper trailer can handle everything from soil and gravel to grain and other bulk goods. The hydraulic tipping function makes it easy to tip the material at the desired location, saving both time and labor.
The tipper trailer is also highly adaptable and comes in different sizes and models to suit different needs and tasks. Whether you need a smaller dumper trailer for lighter transport or a larger tipper trailer for heavy excavation material, there is always a model that can meet your requirements. With high quality and durable materials such as Hardox steel, the tipper trailer is a long-lasting investment that can withstand tough working conditions.
