The Vedkombi 450 is the most affordable professional machine on the market. It is an efficient, safe, and easy-to-use wood processing machine for cutting and splitting wood. The Vedkombi 450 is designed for large volumes and thick logs, with features such as Hardox in the piston control for extra durability and adjustable saw pressure for optimized cutting. It is a Swedish-made wood processing machine of the highest quality that offers good resale value and excellent service options.

The wood splitter has a powerful chassis with a long feed table that extends all the way to the saw blade and a deep splitting chute for safe wood control. The machine is also equipped with a unique tilting plate to ensure that the log ends up correctly in the splitting chute, thereby preventing downtime during the splitting process. A 4.5-meter hydraulic swivel conveyor and hydraulic splitting knife simplify and streamline operation.

The machine is very easy to handle and ergonomic as it is controlled by a center-spring joystick. The machine's PLC control means that sawing and splitting start automatically when the joystick is operated, without unnecessary button presses. The splitting cycle time is automatically optimized with variable pressure. This is done in four steps to ensure the most efficient splitting possible at all times.

The wood splitter can be supplemented with various accessories such as a log table, freestanding feeder, step feeder, and 6-, 8-, and 12-blade splitting knives.
